Liam McGrath
Liam McGrath is a law student from Uppsala University, set to commence Master’s studies in European Law at Leiden University this autumn. With a keen interest in matters pertaining to the European single market and competition law, he brings a focused perspective on regulatory frameworks and economic policies. As a Programme Sherpa for CFIS 24, Liam is curating the panel on “Investment Screening and Economic Security in Developing Countries.” The panel aims to explore, among other issues, the challenges and strategies for developing countries to attract foreign direct investment while mitigating the security risks sometimes associated with it.
