Katarzyna Stradomska
Katarzyna Stradomska is an EU-qualified lawyer (adwokat) specializing in foreign direct investment (FDI) screening and merger control, with a background in litigation and mediation.
She currently serves as a senior expert at the Polish Competition Authority (UOKiK), where she has extensive experience in handling FDI screening, merger control proceedings, drafting legal interpretations, and analyzing draft legislation. Katarzyna also contributes to policy development and coordination across Member States as part of the EU Merger Working Group.
She has gained valuable international experience as a short-term expert in EU-funded technical assistance and information exchange projects, including TAIEX and Twinning initiatives for Georgia, Albania, and Moldova. In 2024, she participated in the U.S. Department of State’s International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) on “Transparency and Accountability” further enhancing her understanding of global regulatory frameworks.
Katarzyna has shared her expertise at various conferences and workshops, including an OECD hearing on the relationship between Foreign Direct Investment Screening Reviews and Merger Control Review during the 139th meeting of the Competition Committee.
She holds a Master’s degree in Law from the University of Warsaw, where she graduated with honors and served as a senior editor of the Warsaw University Law Review. Additionally, she completed the German Law School program, organized by Bonn Universität and the University of Warsaw, with honors.
